Media 4IR.

We are currently in the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) era. I realised that my printwork process was similar to this era’s definition: the fusion between the physical and the digital, so in 2021 during the pandemic, I had the idea of calling this particular process Media 4IR.

Media 4IR Process

I photograph one of my original physical artworks and then develop the image using digital software to create a new work: the fusion of the physical and the digital. This new work is then printed onto archival quality paper and often worked on further by hand.
